Danish Pop star Bryan Rice, who has participated 4 times in Danish Melodi Grand Prix, shares his Top 10 from Eurovision Song Contest 2014.
Bryan’s debut single No Promises (featured on the soundtrack of the Danish movie Nynne) was a huge hit in Denmark in 2005. In 2006 Bryan released the second single from his debut album Confessional – a cover of the Amanda Stott song “Homeless Heart”, which was used as the opening theme of the Danish reality show Paradise Hotel.
Bryan’s second album, Good News, was released in 2007 and in 2009 Bryan co-wrote “Underneath My Skin”, with Mads Haugaard for Danish Melodi Grand Prix – sung by Norwegian singer Christina Undhjem.
In 2010 Bryan was offered a wildcard as a performer in the contest and competed once again in Danish Melodi Grand Prix. His entry “Breathing”, which was written by Peter Bjørnskov, finished second in the contest.
Later that year Bryan Rice released his third Studio album, “Another Piece of Me”, which features duets with Danish singer Julie Berthelsen and Swedish singer Emilia.
In 2013 Bryan returned to Danish Melodi Grand Prix with “Beautiful to Me” sung by Swedish singer Albin – and co-written by Bryan together with Mads Haugaard.
This year Bryan Rice was one of the 10 acts competing in Danish Melodi Grand Prix with his song “I Choose U” – co-written with Lars Halvor Jensen, Johannes Jørgensen and Shanna Crooks.
